Nancy Tobias

Nancy was born at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland weighting in at 9 1/2 pounds in March 1957.  She attended Hebbville Elementary, Woodlawn Junior High and Milford Mill High School.  She graduated HS in 1975.  She then went onto the University of Maryland, College Park and received a BS from the school of Human Ecology with a major in Family Studies in 1979.  Nancy's first job was working as a housing counselor for Anne Arundel County. After two years there, she realized that this was not all that she had hoped that it would be.  Nancy's father, Maurice, offered her the opportunity to run her own business in 1981, a cleaning/maintenance/janitorial company named Oriole Enterprises, Inc.  At that time her dad owned the same type of business, Eagle Paper and Chemical, Inc. and this was a subsidiary. She continued to run Oriole Enterprises until her father's untimely death in 1994, at which time she closed Oriole Enterprises and merged it with Eagle Paper.  She continued on there at 809 W. Baltimore Street, Baltimore, Maryland (now the site of the University of Maryland Technology Center) until she sold the business in 2003 to United Sanitary.  She continued on there until 2017.

Nancy met her future husband, David Sall at a singles dance in August 1988.  They dated for a year and got engaged on August 11, 1989.  They bought their first home together in January 1990 and were married on June 10, 1990. They welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Maury Noah Sall in September 1995, followed by a beautiful daughter, Sophie Rebecca in June 1998. They have enjoyed a wonderful life together, spending every summer at their favorite resort in the Poconos, Woodloch Pines.  It has left a lasting impression on all of us.

Nancy became a first time grandmother to Emma in February 2023, daughter of Maury and his wife Johanna.
