Letter listing grandfather (Elisha Flack) and grandmother (Anna Boon Flack) and their children. C. A. Clapp's father (Asa Clapp) married Lavina Flack (daughter of Elisha Flack). "I can remember visiting my grandparents [Elisha and Anna Boon Flack] who remember the slaves, who wore wooden shoes. I can also remember the boardwalk between the house and the kitchen ... Beyond the kitchen were two slave cabins, in one of which the old house-servant, "Aunt Chaney", lived.
