| BARON EISENMENGER, COURT PHYSICIAN, DEAD
Medical Adviser to Late Archduke Francis Ferdinand and Ex-Emperor Charles.
Special Cable to THE NEW YORK TIMES. VIENNA, Dec. 11.—Baron Victor Eisenmenger, former personal physician to the late Archduke Francis Ferdinand and the former Emperor Charles, died at the age of 69 after an operation.
Victor Eisenmenger was a son of August Eisenmenger, painter and professor at the Imperial Academy of Arts in Vienna. His brother, Hugo E. Eisenmenger of 111 South Ninth Avenue, Mount Vernon, N. Y., is an electrical engineer of international reputation who has been associated with the New York Edison Company since 1921.
The close relations of the Eisenmengers with the former Austrian royal family were made evident in New York in the Spring of 1930 when the Baroness Anna Eisenmenger, wife of the physician arrived with authority from the Archduchess Marie Therese to represent her in the tangled proceedings that followed the alleged unauthorized sale here of the historic diamond necklace of the Archduchess. The Baroness was successful in her mission, receiving from the purchaser the gems and their authenticating documents.

Ferriss Sends Tickets to Each Series Tilt to Former Coach MANCHESTER, N. H., Sept. 26— [Page 12, 1946]
James M. Flack, personnel manager at a local textile mill, is the envy tonight of baseball fans and others who'd like to see the World Series. He has six tickets for the series two for each game to be played in Boston.
How come? He was baseball coach in Shaw. Miss., when the Red Sox star hurler, David "Boo" Ferries, attended high school. He was Dave's mentor for four years of high school and semipro pitching.
Flack and Ferriss have been close friends many years. Ferriss was the best man at Flack's wedding, and is godfather of Flack's 11-year [2 ½-year]-old son, Mimmy [likely "Jimmy"].
Flack saw Ferriss nip the Yanks, 4 to 3, in August. He predicts the Sox will win, regardless of opponents. Cardinals or Dodgers. He figures the series will go five or six games.

| Claudette Colbert Claudette Colbert was an American stage and film actress.
Colbert began her career in Broadway productions during the late 1920s and progressed to motion pictures with the advent of Talking pictures. Initially associated with Paramount Pictures, she gradually shifted to working as a freelance actress. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress in It Happened One Night (1934), and received two other Academy Award nominations. Other notable films include Cleopatra (1934) and The Palm Beach Story (1942).
Colbert was known for a versatility that led to her becoming one of the industry's best-paid stars of the 1930s and 1940s and, in 1938 and 1942, the highest-paid star. During her career, Colbert starred in more than 60 movies.
In 1999, the American Film Institute posthumously voted Colbert the 12th-greatest female star of classic Hollywood cinema.
